A meibographer is an advanced imaging device that captures detailed images of your meibomian glands—the tiny oil-producing glands located along your eyelids. These glands play a vital role in keeping your tears healthy and preventing them from evaporating too quickly. Meibography allows your eye doctor to evaluate the health and function of these glands, helping identify the underlying causes of dry eye disease and other eyelid conditions before symptoms become more severe.

An autorefractor is a computerized instrument that measures how light focuses in your eyes to estimate your eyeglass or contact lens prescription. This quick, non-invasive test provides your eye doctor with valuable information about your vision and serves as an important starting point for determining your most accurate prescription.
